I started donating in the Army in 1968. I donate when I can. I've given up 23 plus gallons of blood so far. Hoping I can continue to help those who need a dose of me.

It would be amazing if donors were able to see end-to-end delivery information for their donation.

For example, if my donation is used at a hospital or aboard a helicopter, it would be great to see something like, "Your donation of {type} on {date} helped a {age} year old {man/woman/child} on {date}." Nothing personally identifiable - just enough information to make it personable and real.

I recently gave my 100th pint of blood. What a great feeling to know I am helping so many people in need. It is such an easy and painless procedure.

I’m not gonna lie, after every appointment I get crazy side affects 😅😂, but it’s always worth it, because I know I’m helping someone in need! ❤️ can’t wait to donate again 😊

I donated blood recently and was given a $20 gift card to Walmart/Sams. The gift card ended up going to a family who had a family member pass away recently and was doing a fundraiser to pay for funeral expenses.

South Texas Blood and Tissue center... I got a question for you guys: Whenever I donate blood or platelets I'm asked to fill up an online survey where we give feedback about our donation process...We are also asked to share any thoughts and then we are asked whether we would like to be contacted to discuss our responses to the survey... Well, I have never been contacted back.. I understand you guys are very busy... probably you don't have time to read our responses to the surveys' questions... if that's the case, what's the point of asking us to fill up a survey?

Thank you.
