Oh this is awesome! I just spent 5 weeks in Argentina. I've been using duolingo for 5 years to learn Spanish. I felt so lost because everyone speaks so fast. I didn't know all of the words in this but the spanish subtitles helped me understand pretty much every statement. Definitely will be watching all videos on this channel!

Beginner learner here. This is about my level: I understand most of it but there are still quite a few useful phrases I need to pick up.
I admit that I am a rather casual learner, I don't see any occasion where I would need Spanish, except perhaps news (Mexican PM giving a speech about tariffs) and the occasional phrase in (English speaking) TV series...

In my work, I sometimes pick up a Khmer language book: I read it for the children in English and then let my assistant read the text in Khmer (Again, I mostly just understand it, practically everyone can speak English with me anyway.) Maybe I can read a children's book in Spanish one day. 🙂

Learning through stories like this is my preferred method, it feels more natural to me especially grammar, and things stick better. Duolingo doesn't work with me so well anymore, I'm glad I found this channel to keep my interest.
