Why is Splash Mountain closing? L.A. Times reporter Todd Martens gives you all the facts you need to know. Stay for the end where a very wet and annoyed videographer has a cameo. He had a great time!

The only people that call that movie “racist” have NEVER seen the movie. It is a great story of friendship

My favourite ride in the whole of Disney Parks! Its so so sad. I am going to miss the songs and the animatronics.

This was the one ride I really wanted to go in this year 😢

Disneyland closed the standby line for Splash Mountain on its last day of operation an hour before the park closed. Disney parks no longer compensate for lost park time when their rides break down. They do not enforce their own rules. I will never set foot in another Disney park.

Omg people need to stop with this absolute bs woke assessment on every little damn thing they can find. People are soo soft too bored and living in thier parents basement.

I just hope the retheming will be good and screens will be used sparingly.

Splash Mountain/Bayou Adventure is basically Disney's version of Jurassic Park.

You’ll have to go to Tokyo Disneyland to ride Splash Mountain. You won’t regret it. Tokyo has the best Disney park.

My brother hated Splash Mountain and said he'll never ride it again, he also said he will never ride gay ass Tiana's Bayou Adventure

So they're updating the theme to a current character that young kids will actually recognize? The history was racist, and this helps Disney keep up with the times. Sounds like a profitable win all around.
