Caesarea: A city By The Sea

Caesarea is a city located on the Mediterranean coast of Israel, about halfway between Tel Aviv and Haifa. It was originally built by Herod the Great in the first century BCE and was an important city during the Roman and Byzantine periods. Today, Caesarea is a popular tourist destination known for its archaeological sites, including the ancient Roman theater, the Crusader fortress, and the hippodrome. The city also has a modern marina, beaches, and a variety of restaurants and shops.
