Wow, I think this was the first time I saw motion capture on an animated film without noticing it. Pixar is really pushing the limits of this technology. Great job! :D

This is easily my favorite Pixar short and honestly I really want to see more from this world, though we’ll probably never return to it..

What I think was best part of short film is original design for the extraterrestrial and buildings. It has a steam punk feel mix with some really grate designs for aliens.

A great Short, short and great!
And it's just one detail, but I love the voice of the hammer-Robot. It made me laugh, but it's touching on the same time!
I would love so much to take part in the production of such a project. And if I just would watch the production process - but in my biggest and not shortest dream I draw something and it is integrated in the project!

I really wish pixar would get atmospheric with its films again. Like when the world feels vast and massive, and nothing like our world. Finding Nemo and Wall-E were really good at giving that feeling of just being enveloped a massive new world
