Is it like a symbolism for women’s rights? Because they’re all men, apart from the yarn ball, and then they all tell her that she’s being too “soft” which is a common stereotype, and they constantly regard her as lesser and non important. When she tried acting more like them, like a man, they are confused, but get along with her better, and regard her as more important. it was sad when the “women” didn’t stick together, and stand up for each other. But then finally the pink yarn decided to embrace herself and her new friend. When the guys started to get along with the pink and yellow yarn, it opened up lots more opportunities for a whole lot of other “women” (yarn)

(That’s just my analysis, and prediction)

Just watched this short and it's unlike any other I've ever seen, congrats to Pixar for letting new people make these shorts!

I'm curious why Purl moves at a lower frame rate. Like, the rest of the animation moves at 24 frames, but Purl moves at like between 15 and 20. It's odd, but I like it.

I LOVE how the creator said she didn’t want to make a short about the outsider being better than everyone else, but having them learn how to work together! Nice little short! Even though it isn’t exactly for kids😂

I'm the whitest white dude there is. This short is fantastic. The message is fantastic. It's not saying we're evil, or we need to be more like women. It's saying we need to be aware of the fact that other people exist besides us white men, and that their being different isn't a bad thing. There's no sexism or racism here against white men. Instead, it celebrates all people. In no world or situation is that a bad thing. If you think it's bad to accept and acknowledge that different people have a right to exist in the corporate workplace, you're just wrong.
