Start a YouTube Livestream Using Streamlabs OBS - Beginners Tutorial

How to start a livestream on YouTube with Streamlabs OBS. In this beginners tutorial I show you how to livestream on YouTube. Streamlabs OBS is free software used by some of the biggest streamers on Twitch and YouTube. With Streamlabs OBS, going live on YouTube is very easy.

Follow the steps below to start a livestream on YouTube:
2. Install and open Streamlabs OBS.
3. Once Streamlabs OBS is open, login to your YouTube account through Streamlabs OBS
4. Add your live stream overlays such as web cams, displays, microphones, or video sources
5. Once your stream has been configured in Streamlabs OBS, Go live on YouTube by selecting the Go Live button located on the bottom right of Streamlabs OBS

Question: How do you start a "test" stream to YouTube using the Private or Unlisted option rather than a public stream? I have been using XSplit where you can select among those three options prior to starting the livestream.
