I like how you cut it all straight to the meat. Usually youtube means 80% of water and 20% of information for people to spam those videos afap. Have my like for this.

While I don't understand any of the musical terminology that's being said I can appreciate your knowledge and talent that clearly comes across in this video. Pretty sure I was just trying to find out what instrument makes that iconic Zimmer sound in his soundtracks and found this video. Cheers

Interesting to see that HZ's music is in fact not superbly complicated if you break it down to particles. Thank you for this video. Very cool

Hans Zimmer actually used 6 bass trombones, 6 tenor trombones, 4 tubas in the middle and 6 French horns above. Check out the making of the score.

I find trying to recreate parts of a score very helpful for learning new tricks about composition and instrumentation. Super good ear excercise as well!

Why is Samuel Umtiti composing music and not preparing for the Champions League??

Great video! There's one thing that's also really used by Hans Zimmer which really helps with creating walls of sound: synthesizers!

What a coincidence... Minutes before Alex uploaded this Brass topic, I was studying the brass in *Under a Burning Sky* (Shiro Sagisu/Shin Godzilla).
