He would be my choice to do a Blade Runner sequel,  and if would be fantastic if Vangelis was a part of the process,  since without question the original movie simply wouldn't be what it was without Vangelis score and soundtrack.   Zimmer now understands how to properly use electronic and synthesized sounds as equally impact-full as a natural orchestra just as Vangelis did before him.
