People are actually moving back INTO Detroit, but mainly the downtown district due to the many new condos and apartments going up. Many are sold before they're finished. Many of the run down areas bordering downtown are being revitalized. The city has a ways to go, but it is getting nice.

Los Angeles was far better when Adam-12 patrolled the streets, Jon and Ponch patrolled the freeways, and Squad-51 kept us alive. Good old days

I like what you said about Las Vegas. Las Vegas does seem to take pride in its tackiness. That is part of its charm.

I'm shocked NYC is so low on this list. "Rent so high even cockroaches have roommates" that's a good one 😂😂

I came here to see how St. Louis and Chicago ranked.

I concur with Los Angeles. It's Hell on Earth. All the sunny weather won't save it.

Imagine buying a home in Chicago and paying some the worst property taxes in the country to find out JP Morgan owns the street in front of it.

Generally it seems that if people have to live in a big city for a long time and can't leave, they come to hate it eventually. But it seems the same goes to the rural areas😂 So, the grass is alwsys greener on the other side.

Before playing the video, I’m guessing New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Philly, St. Louis, and Baltimore

Briggs must have lost $20 in Las Vegas in the past and has held a grudge ever since. But seriously, people hate Las Vegas so much that 40.83 million people visited last year and volume is up 4% so far this year.

And the most loved cities in 'Murica are: Bugtussle, Hooterville, Petticoat Junction, Hazzard, Possum Hollow, Mayberry and every city named Lynchburg.

Before watching this I’m going to guess that NYC, Chicago, and Philly are on this list. 3 of the best cities in the country, but they’re prominent so many people will have strong feelings in either direction.

The thing about Detroit is you have to want to go there, it’s not on the way to anywhere in the U.S. I wonder how many people that voted for it have only watched YouTube videos.

I saw the title and thought, I wonder if San Francisco will make the list? Nope. But wat was shocking is Oakland isn't on the list ether. The homeless in San Francisco don't even like Oakland, how did it not make the list?

L.A. traffic is the worst. Anytime I had a VA appointment at the Wilshire VA hospital it would take at least 2 hours to get there from Camarillo when it should only take 30 minutes. Glad the traffic in Tulsa isn't as bad.

I used to live in Belmont Shores near Long Beach and it used to take me 2 hours to get to work in Anaheim. I now live in Cheyenne Wyoming and it roughly takes me 20 minutes to drive 40 miles.

When Detroit gets its crime under control, it’s gonna take off. There’s almost entire neighborhoods that possess empty lots that have all the utilities leading to them. It’s also smack dab in the middle of a major waterway. That is the initial reason it got so prominent in the first place (cars came later), and that waterway has improved since then. Plus, it’s dirt cheap - if crime is brought to a reasonable level, it’s a place for young people who can take their jobs with them to move to as it would be an incredible bargain for them (as people will still disparage even when crime will be low). A safer Detroit will be an attractive location for logistics firms; that could be the basis for an economic revival. New blood moving in to a safer Detroit will bring the initiative and funds needed to revive the place - the economy will somewhat follow.
