As an American that lived on 3 different continents, I knew we would be on this list...I just didn't think we would be listed so close to North Korea. Lol I say we should let or govts representatives duke it out and leave the common person alone lol. My Scottish friends told me that they don't hate Americans just our policies and government.

When the video shows US, it shows Times Square. One of the most developed areas of US. When it shows India it only shows the most ugliest places such as slums.
This is a kind of ignorance that most of the westerners have in their mind. They are still stuck in 80s-90s. World has changed a lot. Please read and grow your mindset.

There are slums in downtown Los Angeles and San Francisco but they never show that. I have observed most Americans are good, welcoming and understand these differences. it’s just a small minority who makes such videos.

Most countries have both good and bad. Ther are a number of countries that I am quite fond of. I might mention that there are a lot of countries that I don't know much about.

I am from South Africa and i was not aware of a list of the most hated countries in the world. I find this very sad. I don't think the people are hated but rather the government, its political system, policies, laws etc. I have met so many wonderful people that come from many of these countries. This situation is with all countries, governments will always find something to hate another country, through the past, wars, injustice, genocide etc and this hatred can be propagated. Let us think carefully about how we feel about countries, cities etc and not get caught up with the stereotypes.

US in foreign policy is a like an uninvited guest that comes in to your house, take a shit in your toilet and leave without flushing and complaining about the smell.

I find it ironic how this guy didn't hesitate to say all kinds of things and even proceeded to call Saudi Arabia 'boring' but when it came to his own country he said that everyone else is just 'jealous' about the USA. There are heaps and heaps of nice, kind, generous, compassionate people in the US, but there are a small minority of people like this guy who are so cocky and arrogant.
We are all humans. We shouldn't be going against each other and saying things like 'my country is better than your country.' There are way more important issues in the world and we as humans must band together and help eachother out, not pushing each other away.

Briggs, although we made it onto the list of most hated, it seems that I remember that we're also one of the top countries where people want to vacation. Now, that's a tough one to figure out.
