i just bought one of these today. they are so awesome. i been playing guitar for over 10 years and this thing has some serious range and clarity better than alot of guitars that i have played. this demo doesnt really show you.... i only bought it coz i need it for recording some bass on some songs and i am blown away at how good it is.
bass boost control with built in pre-amp circuit this thing really is BANG FOR BUCK! BIG BANG! FAT BANG!

I have a sr premium 1205, has nordstrand big singles. That bass will run with some 3 and 4 grand basses. They have come along way!!!

I have this bass strung up with DR black beauties and it's great. No complaints at all.

I bought a GSR200 to fool around with at home and put some flat wound strings on it. It's way down on the list of budget basses, but I like it so much I've used it at gigs.

These make the absolute best piccolo basses. Put some piccolo strings on it and you instantly made yourself a 4 string Stratocaster. The tone similarity is uncanny.

Well I was playing it at the music store & it didn't have the little paper that says what all the knobs do n' such so I didn't mess around with those very much. Haha actually I remember now that I was playing on a 10watt practice amp too :) But that's the one I plan on buying.

I played around with this bass this afternoon(I'm coming from a GSR190). Thing felt so good to play but of course, I couldn't make nice sounds like in this video haha.

flawless playing, like usual ! as for the cheap basses, I find that the problem with these is not the sound, in fact most of the time they will actually sound good but the real problem is that they usually don't keep there tuning/setup very well and the parts over time may degrade faster or loossen up, like the tuning keys, frets, nut, pickups, etc...

I buy a bass for the basic sound (you know the difference between P/J/Sting) and for the playability. I've never encountered a well-playable bass under 200 bucks in my life.

Thanks for the very pleasant video. I have a similar Ibanez Bass guitar but when I slap and pop it doesn't sound nice like yours. Can you please kindly tell me your tone and pick up setting on the bass? Are you using any effect?

Ate you using a pedal? My sr300 doesn't sound anything like this. I mean the tone, coz your playing is obviously very good
