In addition, the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ system with three-way Power Tap switch allows you to split your humbuckers or combine a humbucker with a single coil to ensure you retain a highly articulate sound whilst delivering the low end frequencies to stand out in the mix.

An Accu-Cast B120 Bridge features extra wide string slots allowing you to use higher gauge strings whilst ensuring superb tuning stability. Just started learning bass and got a copperish brownish SR300E in excellent condition from a pawn shop for $250. I love it but admit I don't know much. I must say it is encouraging to know I actually bought a good one LOL. I am loving the learning.

Just bought the SR300 EDX. Excellent bass and probably the best value for money in the shop. Coupled it with an Orange Crush 50 and the available sounds are awesome.

The bassist at my church that I go to on Saturdays plays the 305E and it's always set to some sort of deep tone. Of course it can barely be discerned from all of the singing and it's predominant enemy- the piano- but I love the design so much I just had to have a four string version of it. I'm glad to know this doesn't sound so deep and quiet as his did out of the box, though I still intend to put some D'addario strings on it whenever I feel like buying this beauty. Light Guage did it nicely for my Squier Jazz maybe it will be good for this one too?

Was thinking about getting one, but after seeing all the complicated controls having second thoughts. I like my instruments simple, not that there's anything wrong with the latter bc a lot of people like being able to really shape their sound perfectly, but for me just give me a bright bridge pickup and a warm neck pickup and I'm good lol

I just got one the other day. I also have a HB PB-50, a Sterling Stingray 4, and a Squier P bass. The Ibanez is the VERY easy to play and there is zero neck dive. It sits pretty firmly and doesn't move much at all. Plus the body is smaller and easy to play sitting down. I'm still trying to dial in the sound I want.
