PSA and TLDW: don't get the Galaxy a03s, my dad had this phone and it was pretty bad. the hotspot was slow, battery held a good charge but charged slowly and shut off on its own often. His phone also came to an almost complete halt every time he turned on his hotspot or had any more than one app open. Don't try to even get close to having less than 4 gigs of storage left because the phone will slow down as if it was a 2001 Hp laptop.

Crazy part is aside from the quality of pictures and videos and gaming, you can do everything on that $50 phone that you can do on a $2000 phone like YouTube, Google drive, listen to music, etc

A series is really underrated. They are cheap but better than anything you can get from other companies. I got A05s as temporary replacement but caught myself thinking that it is good enough to keep as main phone. It has SD680 cpu, 6 gb of ram and normal camera. And for 100 something books it is good.

My aunt still using this phone, 64GB internal. Her a03s has android 13 downloaded but she never installed it so her internal is full, she has Google photos automatic backup turn on so her cloud storage is full, it has a case that cover both mic and fingerprint sensor on the power button 😅.

in my country 🇸🇿 that phone is E2'000 ($115)

in America you'd have to work just 8 hrs (minimum wage) and you're able to buy that phone ($50), one day's work basically.
at my current job, I'd have to work 8 8 hr shifts (8 days) to have $50, 17 days to have $115... while it would take an American just 2 day's work to have $115

Honestly the A series from Samsung is genuinely so cool. A03 is well…barely alive but the A23 or A53 are honestly really good phones. Having gone from android (one plus) to ios recently, except for the specific deferences in UI, the performance is basically the same. And I really put these phones to use. Maxed out storage, running multiple huge games on both etc… actually the first real difference I noticed with a that iPhones really heat up. And they heat up FAST. It was terrifying the first time I picked up my phone and the damn thing felt like the surface of the sun.
