So ADA would protect any rider who says they have a Respiratory disability which prevents them from wearing a mask. If you refuse a ride you are liable as a driver same way if you refused a service animal.

On the flip side anyone with a severe enough respiratory illness is susceptible to COVID and is one of the people who should be staying home

I have a box of disposable masks so I've been willing to just give people masks when they don't have one. But I don't feel obligated to do that. Sidenote I started driving for uber 7 days ago and hit that gold level. Probably nothing to write home about but it made me feel special for 12 seconds.

Well they exist and the reality is one is a independent contractor .. don't like it call a regulated cab company.. why is Uber and Lyft so less expensive?? Ohhh don't have to have ability to handle wheelchairs etc. Or regulations on access.. as it's a personal car etc offering a "ride share" not a darn taxi service. How people don't get the difference is sad . Also the lack of customer support for drivers sucks.. and yes I had a talking with one driver who showed up 20 min early on one of my employees. And did complain.. but he was a ass and also she was a idiot . As it was simple to drop her off on the way.. home . And I said so.. but she never asked.. people don't get it use a unregulated option. Duh.. why I guess it's cheaper dont complain if said individual makes demands.. you contracted with a individual for service.. at your own risk.. done simple.. to be honest I don't think people get why some things are more expensive because of regulations.. then complain said regulations offer protection. Gig workers are not under same regulations.. their car does not need to be safe inspected or anything else . Driver can be anyone.. it's a private ride share. App.. done.. sad uber and lift are trying to operate like a cab company. The app is only a simple people with cars able to drive someone. Done..
