No one in the zero division can ever die. Isshin is Shiba not Kurosaki, Kurosaki does not exist in the soul society. Some people clearly had help of soul society to evade capture because as Urahara had to explain to Hiyori whom was being unruly, you cannot quit being a soul reaper only try to desert or die. Like the Vizoreds themselves, it feels like they were aided in their escape whereas Aizen whom had immense spiritual power could only evade by running into Hueco Mundo (the reaper blind spot... since they basically dont go there and throw away or forgotten souls go there... not to be confused with hell).
