One of my favorite dragons fell in battle. Rhaenys Targaryen and Meleys were an amazing duo throughout the series.
The first battle of the conflict was heartbreaking.
The show's midseason was amazing!

Aegon has become such an amazing character in the show, betrayed and belittled by everyone including his family, I can’t wait to see him after his wounds…the only Targaryen to ever survive dragonfire outside of Dany’s immunity.

It hurts to know that Vhagar and Melyes grew up together. They were born around the same time, and had bonds that were years long. I guess, if anything, at least it was an old friend in the end for the dragons.

I found Rhaenys to be an interesting character at first, but her constant sanctimonious whingeing about peace after she killed all those peasants was super irritating to me. Did she forget that it happened or something?

It’s unfortunate that the only standout moment of the season lasted just 4 minutes, boosting the fourth episode. The rest of the season was let down by very poor writing.
