Just by luck or unconscious something pops out and you're like "whoa, what was that?". And with that piece it was a willingness to be totally sincere and borderline maudlin but hopefully not. Emotional without being maudlin. I had always been sort of afraid of that and hidden before behind maybe a little irony or a just little distance. But that piece kinda showed me that I can get really emotional, I can get really sincere and actually I really loved the way the audience really reacted to it. I was like I want more of that! I want more people's interior lives and how complicated that is and how sort of endless that is."

I was born in 1998 which someone has since told me is the year this song was released. One of the great songs that has stuck in my head from my parents playing at home as a young child. Obviously i never knew who the song was by or what it was called but I recently heard it again on a top songs list by Noel Gallagher. Here i am now listening on that same Sony Hifi system that was given to me by my mum. The sound system that i first heard this great song on almost 20yrs ago. Very special to me. Cheers x

I discovered this song in 2008 around the time I met an incredible girl my junior year of college. We started out as friends; we'd drive around until 4am just talking. We'd watch movies all night until one of us fell asleep. We'd spend every minute we could with each other. Eventually it was obvious we both had feelings for each other well beyond just being friends. We started dating in 2010 and we're still together and still madly in love. This song reminds me so much of those early years where friendship became love; the video drives that home even more. Beautiful.
