I have an old Grumman? Flat back canoe that is designed to put an engine on the back. That thing is probabaly about 1 1/2 times the width of a regular canoe. I cant flip that thing.

My dad turned that and his canoe into a catamaran with a gas powered outboard and a trolling motor mounted to it in the middle.

His current project is he is building a livewell on my canoe and trying it out. He is retired and bored. He was gonna make it into a sailboat but changed his mind. Its nice because he can put full sized lawn chairs with backs into the canoes or he made some seats with backs that he can put in the canoes if he wants to .
He even took and old trailer and fixed it up for the canoes. It tilts so he can easily launch the canoes

Up in Alaska we’re finally able to bank fish, lakes and river have thawed just enough for us to cast into shallow water where the trout are hanging out

I like a lot of the stuff 13 fishing has to offer. Good quality equipment that doesn't break the bank. Lews is also up there for budget/mid range equipment that is super reliable. Im currently testing out the 2024 Bass Pro Carbonlite combo and it's been treating me well so far. I think i prefer Lews Rods though.

Nice video! My favorite fishing reel brand is definitely shimano, I have 3 and they are awesome.
My second favorite is probably Profisheincy and then daiwa.
