Paramore is one of those bands that expertly walks the line between not letting themselves be pigeon-holed into 1 genre while also not entirely alienating their fanbase. I’m the same age as them and have been a fan since around 2006, and its been wild to watch them grow as musicians and as people. Great band.

I was today years old when I found out Greta Van Fleet is not a female indie singer-songwriter but instead 4 young guys from Michigan rocking a Led Zeppelin-esque sound.

Paramore's whole album is very very good. The chords in the beginning of Running Out of Time mimic anxiety perfectly. The chorus is pretty frenetic with a good groove. Very well thought out. The whole album is constructed with thought.

I've listened to the whole "Rush!" album from Måneskin probably 15 times since this video came out. It's really great.

Running out of time is such an addictive track. I've been listening to it constantly since This Is Why came out. Having said that, the whole of This Is Why is an incredible album and shows just how much Paramore are maturing as artists. It's one of my favourite albums of the year, though I have to say that After Laughter is still my favourite Paramore record partly due to the fact that it came out during a wonderful time in my life and the songs became linked to those wonderful events/memories.

Nothing But Thieves are a fantastic band Rick. Check out; Particles, Amsterdam and especially Impossible recorded at Abbey road live with an orchestra. Think you'll dig it.

There's some great rock music coming in this year. Years of overproduced "safe" rock clichés and we're finally seeing some pushback. The fruits of the pandemic that allowed people to reevaluate life and music. 2022 was a pretty decent year for rock, 2023 so far has been awesome 🤘

"Running Out Of Time" is one of my favorite songs of 2023. I love Hayley's vocals on it – she sounds so frustrated to the point where she doesn't even care anymore, which is what the song is all about! Paramore is one of those bands that you have to listen to in order to get how cool they really are.

I also heard those Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park songs on my local rock station and they're pretty good, too. I must say, I'm very impressed by this list.

It’s interesting how Rick figures out the notes and the structure in top 10 pop songs in two seconds, but here he’s constantly surprised and that look on his face gives me hope 🤩
