Just came back from the cinema. I don't care much for 4k blurays and alike but getting the chance to see Miyazaki's first outing as s director on the big screen as a delight.

This was the first Lupin that I watched. I already forgetten why I decided a binged this series. But I never regret it. Wish there were more. Still waiting for a new sequel

This is amazing for modern standards let alone 19-freaking-79...SO AHEAD OF THE CURVE. I can't emphasize how incredible this is for 1979. The amount of work put into making this must have been IN-SANE! Miyazaki is a one in a trillion. There will never be another Miyazaki.

Why is the video only 1080p and not 4k? also will it release with HDR like the american remaster?

The original author, Monkey Punch, is angry that Hayao Miyazaki removed the poison from the original Lupine and created a completely different Lupine.
By the way, in the original Lupine, no one knows Lupine's true face.
