This is the Moeller method and very useful for things like 16th note grooves with your right hand, but don’t forget to practice playing the second note as loud as the first

Forget to tell about using the rebound stroke squeezing after struck to try to make the volume the same as to even out the sound at higher speeds

When practicing at slow speed ensure the second tap is the same volume to encourage better technique while speeding up.

You articulate these short lessons so efficiently, even I can understand them, and I am an ADHD Non- drumming Bassist

From what I remember about proper roll techniques in middle/high school band, you just hold the stick loose enough for it to bounce one extra time per stroke.

She's great and really explains things in a way that it reaches all levels of people playing drums. I'm drumming since 9years old and I'm 62 and I'm still learning things, and having fun. And this instructor is teaching this old dog new tricks. Great job helping making a fun thing even more fun!

If ya’ll are in a marching band drumline, DO NOT use this double technique or you will be cut faster than any other

Great instruction, another good tip to get monster chops and clean diddles is to practice a double beat (multi beat) exercise with a metronome and focus on giving each stroke it proper space, focus on sound quality of each stroke and play through the drum (practice pad)
