I'm just about to finish this build in my survival world after over a week of working on it in the evenings. I built it in a cherry grove biome and replaced some of the blocks, cherry wood for oak, crimson for mangrove, blackstone for deepslate and nether brick for bricks. I love it! Finally a survival house you can actually use for survival. Most builds look cool but are not really functional for survival. In my case, they are usually too small and make me feel claustrophobic. This is perfect- not an easy build in survival but definitely doable with the proper planning and gathering of materials beforehand. Thanks Marloe, your tutorials are so detailed and easy to follow. I appreciate the longer video where you take the time to explain things and make it easy for me to understand.

Wow, this is a very great house! I built something like this, but on a smaller scale, as my survival starter house. Was very impressed by it, since it was my first time building without a tutorial, but by myself, and it came out pretty nice for a "first time".
It also had four floors (if you count the attic), but onlu the basement and the first floor had any functional use: in the basement there was my starter smeltery and brewery, and on the first floor there was a starter storage area. When I built a proper storage house, I had moved all the storage there, and now the first floor and the second floor are purely decorative, and the attic is just empty.

so i stumbled across your custom villager houses seires, binge watched all of that while building it in creative (to make a schematica out of it for survival and if necessary modify it if i dont like something [didnt have to modify a single thing, except add candles since they werent in the game back then, otherwise it was perfect]), then saw this. this is literally what ive been looking for for the past 6 damn years and ive finally found it. its beautiful. obviously had to instantly build this aswell. basically ive spent my whole day building your builds and it was a wonderful day indeed. im trying to make a custom village like you but i have the Minecraft Comes Alive mod, so all the professions are kinda pointless but i just like the buildings itself, theyre gorgeous. i really appreciate the tutorials, simple and effective. im annoyed ive spent so much time on minecraft without this channel. why the hell is it easier to find a tutorial for a ridiculous redstone farm with update suppression and a rate of 1.3 billion items per hour rather than a decent base for survival with the usual stuff in it?! anyways, thank you again and im definetly gonna look at your survival series' aswell! have a nice day!
