Hong Kong is reimposing some of its strictest COVID-19 curbs. Chief Executive Carrie Lam has warned that the city is on the verge of facing a fifth coronavirus wave. The government will ban flights from eight countries for two weeks starting from Jan 8, as rising imported cases have been taking a toll on the healthcare system. Dine-in services will be suspended from 6pm, while bars, nightclubs, gyms, theme parks and museums will have to shut. Those measures come into force on Jan 7 and will be in place for at least two weeks.

Gyms closing is the worst thing that could happen. They can help fighting the virus by raising immunity
