I'll be interested to see if this is covered later, but I think you don't actually need to find the nature of stationary points here. By continuity, the maximum and minimum are either at the boundaries or at the stationary points, so if you check the values of all 4 points, I think you can just read them off.

Sir i know this is not related to this topic but i have no one to ask about this, so suddenly you came up in my head so i decided to ask you. i have very frustrating problem that i cant solve, can you please answer it for me. question is. -:
lets assume some, one item prize is $750 in a shop . so item maker and shop owner share $750 as 80%(item maker)
and 20%(Shop Owner). so item maker and shop owner decided to give 20% discount
to costumer as 10% from item maker and 10% from shop owner. and shop owner only get 10% from
item maker as he discount 10% from item prize $750. So by selling one item, how much $ Item-maker get and Shop-owner get.
(I cant figure out shop owner should charge 10% from $750 or $600)
