Good hacks! Another old trick for when it's cold is to fill a bottle (Nalgene is best even though no one uses them anymore) with hot water and put it at the foot of your sleeping bag.

If stuffing the sleeping bag in its sack doesn't work, do 100 push-ups.

I have a slightly malfunctioning battery bank but still keep it with me, simply because after being fully charged, it'll warm up like a pocket warmer and due to the 30000mAh capacity, it lasts for a long long time if left untouched (5 days). So in cold weather I usually put it in a stuff sack and keep it inside my bivy. Bloody thing is like a mini heater.

One of my favorites, which I thought you were about to say, is if you're nice and warm in your sleeping bag and don't want to get up but should just open your sleeping pad nozzle so in seconds you're laying on the cold ground.

To stop the sleepingmat from slipping on the inside of the tent while sleeping on it.
Flip it and "sprinkle" it with lots of dots of seamgrip and let them dry out well.
They will do the job like those "stopersocks" for home.

That last tip is probably the most over looked. If you are wearing enough layers and in a small tent packing up something like a sleeping bag that requires some effort it is amazing how much you warm up. Going outside and walking around just seems to make me colder.

Keeping the Sawyer in the sleeping bag works for sure.  Not sure what to do during the day. I don't need to wear a whole lot.  My water freezes whether in a Smart Water bottle or a bladder (more the hose freezes).  Looking forward to your next video.  Thanks!

This is an old one I just watched. For cold weather, a Phoozy will protect your phone and battery pack. Look it up.

I always put my little gas canister in the bottom on my sleeping bag when it's really cold so it doesn't take so long to boil water in the morning
