Boris Johnson helps make PPE in visit to factory

Boris Johnson has met workers helping the country to fight back against the pandemic by developing vaccines, coronavirus tests and making PPE.

The Prime Minister toured three plants in the north east of England, and paid tribute to their efforts to help beat the disease.

I've worked in factories and warehouses most of my productive life, even now and I know how this works. First the preparations so everything looks perfect, aligning pallets with 0 inch tolerance, sweeping the ground ten times. Everyone is being told to be friendly and smiley and do not mention national minimum wage. A big wig guy comes in, walks around the place with management people whom workers otherwise never see leave their office, some even associate them with myths and legends. Pretends to be working by touching few tools and machines cluelessly, slowing down or stopping the production completely. Everyone smiles for the cameras and Mr. Important leaves. Then management comes out of their offices for the second time - compulsory overtime for everyone to catch up with the production. I've been there, done that.

I cannot believe politicians in the west still do this. This is some North Korea Kim-Jong Un style.
