This is the guy who murdered his own descendants to keep his wife alive we're talking about. I'm actually surprised how much people shit on Z for being a bad villain. The way he made Noah choose his poison (die and let his descendants carry his will through time or live for just his wife and burn down everything else) is so fucking evil. The worst part is that Z isn't even trying to be antagonizing, he's just doing his job as given by the will of people. He's essentially an intelligent gnosis who gives humans the ability to also become gnosis by feeding off souls. Even if he doesn't get as much character development as other villains in the franchise, I still enjoyed how apathetic and confused he is by the human nature.

The voice acting is amazing for N. He’s obsessive and it’s strange that we understand. He loves Mio/M with all his heart but his love has consumed him to make him like this. Music just makes everything come together so nicely.

0:25 I love how there’s no break where the comma would be in the sentence, it’s a pretty subtle detail but it’s the cherry on top. He’s so mad and far-gone that he’s not even bothering with breath, he’s rambling and that comes first.

Man N voice direction was really good. I could really feel the "ME" at the end in my heart. It felt real and painful.

And when he states that he will rewind their clocks, it gave me the same sense of insanity when 9S said he is just going to destroy everything in NieR.

Hella good work.
