The last episode with Andy made me buy his glasses, they have improved my sleep like nothing else..So glad that you got him back on ur show.
In my opinion you should not eat after sunset because of the melatonin and growth hormone production. At the same you dont want to eat early in the morning because of high cortisol and its benefits like anti-inflammatory properties.
I love Andy's point on stimulating cortisol response with artificial light.. The world we live in is crazy.. So many artificial dangers and pollutants that are ancestors were not exposed too. All those stressors will speed up aging and makes us weaker. Things like being in ketosis and following circadian rhythm can save our lives

It's so good being fat- and fast-adapted. I did a 36 hour water/electrolyte fast Monday/Tuesday. Thursday things kept happening and it was after 7pm before I could eat. I was absolutely fine. It felt fantastic. I am strong and capable.

OTOH I ran too far and sprained my foot. My first exercise induced injury. I'm kinda proud tbh. I will listen to my body better in the future. My Dr is thrilled at how well I'm doing and said don't stop just walk while it heals.

I slept well until my husband of 35 years was hit and killed by a car. Slept with the lights on, never committing to sleep, only drifting off, for 2 years! I gained 30 lbs.! I would wake up every night about 3am to worry. I'd meditated for decades; starting back was the beginning of positive change. Got back to lavender, started sleeping with a blackout eye mask, stopped drinking, went full keto, started back fasting, started hiking the Appalachian trail. Everything all good again! Endless energy, normal weight, no stress! Followed the science.

Sometimes is hard to believe that lack of sleep is bad and triggers bad things in your body .. and make you age faster and make you gain weight so here is an example Got a friend who has been taking drugs for almost 20 years An amphetamine from Monday to Friday straight sometimes even Saturday he would take a strong sleeping pill on Sunday and sleep 12 hrs then back again to same drug routine being on it for 5 6 days and nights and a night of sleep for 20 years eating one meal a day if that some fast food burger or something or sometimes nothing at all maybe a fruit so anyway hes just stopped it recently as he couldn't be bothered doing that by himself all his friends had stopped it before him so decided to end this . long story short he is 55 years old now look maybe 40 maybe less 38 i would say he is maybe 12 % body fat really looking good his mum is 85 looks 60 so i don't know sometimes what to believe anymore . Love your work Sim you are a true inspiration i find us very similar . I was even considering writing you an email i think you would find me very interesting individual just one info if you ever read this simply reply and will get back to you what am going to write here might shock you and others but for example ive been an athlete all my live 5 year of gymnastics 5 year of rowing then 21 years of body building and here is the crazy thing am 180cm 83kg with 4.8% body fat eating maybe 400 grams of carbs a day trying to gain a bit fat and am believe or not almost in ketoses my ketons are 0.5, 0.6 sometimes and sugar is 85 to 90 lol if i drop one meal and have 300 gr of carbs i go into ketoses right away how is that possible ?
