Starting April 3, Ford is extending employee pricing discounts to customers on most of its truck lineup as the Trump admin slaps 25% tariffs on imported vehicles.

Ford offers "A Plan" pricing and is expected to run through June 2. It applies to Ford and Lincoln vehicles and offers savings of roughly $2,000 to $10,000 per vehicle from the manufacturer's suggested retail price, putting the cost below dealer invoice.

F'em. Ford dealers are sitting on so much inventory it's killing them. The Ford dealer by my house probably has 60+ Broncos and the same number of F-150's, all 2024's. They think people will rush in for a 2000 dollar discount when the current price is so bloated means nothing.

Just at a dealer. They’re knocking a whole $3k off their ‘24 F150s.

The Employee pricing means nothing. They took away all the incentives and low interest rates, so you're actually paying more for the same vehicle. Ford isn't stupid, they just think everyone else is.

My father-in-law worked for Ford motor corporation. As long as my mother-in-law is alive, I can get Ford employee pricing. It is known as the a plan or for retired employees Z plan. I have bought several F1 50s. It is usually about four to $5000 below MSRP. The situation right now is that the dealers have too much inventory. I’ve seen several dealers offering eight and $9000 below MSRP. So employee pricing is not really a good deal right now. This is just a scam to get people to come to the dealerships thinking they’re getting a good deal.

1st time viewer after your video was suggested by YouTube. Enjoyed your honest style. Sick of the “sky is falling” channels just talking nonsense of dealers going out business etc. I’ve subscribed. Thanks.

Gee, that is mighty generous of Ford! That employee pricing is a JOKE! I can walk into the dealership I always do business with and buy the vehicle at invoice price and get 1/2 the holdback. Now, that is on a 2025. A 2024 is almost 2 model years old and they want to try to entice me with employee pricing? I might have been born at night, but, it wasn't last night. GREAT VIDEO!

For all us car guys, this isn’t anything special because we know the tricks of the trade & can get these deals (and even better) pretty much any time we want. But for the avg consumer who has little to no knowledge of the business, this is actually good news. It will be an easier barrier to entry on a deal that they otherwise would probably not get. Definitely a PR move by Ford, but still gotta tip my cap to them because at least it’s a step in the right direction for the majority of folks.

F’ing thank you for putting this out. Some many media outlets talking about Ford’s employee pricing for all like it’s a big deal. Ford is the top recall automaker in the US but people still buy them based on their laurels. Ford has been playing games with us for years now.

I don't buy Ford anything. But, I drove by the Ford dealership yesterday. I saw all the F150 trucks had marked up MSRP! 😂

Yep, and Stellantis announced the same "discount". Too bad each isn't adding a 5yr 125, 000 mile B-B warranty, that would be a start. An employee discount alone won't do jack.

Yeah doubling the price and then knocking that down ~5% isn't a deal lol

Special sales and employee pricing have never proven to be any better than what you can get through typical negotiations without them. What I find dictates prices the most are market conditions, rebates and incentives, how stuffed their lot is at the time and how close to model year end it happens to be. Anything else is just smoke and mirrors.

I think people buying new vehicles since 2020 are absolute lunatics. The manufacturers and dealers have lost their minds. I wouldn’t give Ford $50k for a top of the line F150 much less $80k+. You know the 10 speed transmission is going to go long before it reaches 100k. Couple that with their goofy belt driven oil pump and it’s a big no thanks.

This discount is really a total joke. It doesn't come near to outweigh the depreciation that these F1 50s take. Like you said it really does sound like a headline grab. We will see what happens, this technique might work but not on me!

Absolutely, it’s just a headline grab, but it’s a smart headline grab.

My friend texted me yesterday, “hey did you see what fords doing??” He was super impressed and I could see the gears turning in his head. This is also the same guy that has told me within recent months that he has ZERO interest in ever owning a ford.

SMART headline grabbing.

Bronco pricing is ridiculous right now.

Not a big Ford guy but good on them for trying something. Also includes Lincoln.

I'm getting desensitized to think that a vehicle around 40k is a good price these days. I also agree that when these trucks on the lots finally sell, nobody is going to buy one at tariff prices. People are just going to walk away and make do with that they have unless it is an emergency. The auto makers may as well just half their production and do mass layoffs now.
