Try scrapping off the top layer of the elf baked highlighter. I have the elf baked highlighter in moonlight, and it work wonderfully

I got a dud of the elf baked highlighter
I scraped off the top and now it works perfectly

I had the same issues with the baked highlighters.. so I took a rag and scrubbed off the top layer and thst helped a lot.. It made a huge difference.

I hated the baked products too! I just read all the comments here and went to scrape the top off my blush... its much softer now!

Fun tip- Try popping off the bottom clear part on the bottom of their hydrating lipsticks😆

Just a fun fact: with ELF Velvet Matte lipsticks, you can pop off the bottom of the lipstick and it has a small 'pot' of gloss in that exact shade. It also tastes minty!

i had the same problem with elf's baked highlighter in pinktastic and saw the people commenting on this saying to scratch the top layer off and it totally worked! thanks guys 😘

Elf highlighter has a hard layer on top. You have to break it first. Also apply it with dense brush with shorter bristles, I use RT expert face brush or elf contouring (flat) and it goes on nicely.

People who are suffering with the highlighters: Try scraping the top thin layer and you'll get the pigment

I recently discovered that the Elf Lipsticks that have the black bullet with shade of lipstick shown in a clear bottom actually pops off and has gloss in it!!

I don't care for the HD setting powder BUT... I discovered the elf LUMINOUS setting powder. One word, BEAUTIFUL! I found mine at Target. It originally came in the same bulky container but recently has been repackaged in a clear container with a silver cover. Give it a try if you haven't already. I think you'll really like it.

Jess did you know that the lipsticks you showed at 21:45, the bottom of them come off and it is a lipgloss?!? I didn't know that till I dropped it and it came off.
