An interview isn’t just a chance for the hiring manager to grill you — it’s your opportunity to sniff out whether a position would be as great for you as you would be for the position. So it’s critical to ask the hiring manager some questions of your own. At the end of nearly every job interview, the interviewer will likely ask you if you have any questions for them. At this stage, it's a good idea to ask a few questions to learn more about the company and help you decide if the role would be a good fit. By asking smart questions, you'll also show the employer that you're interested and you care about the job.

The following questions relate directly to the company itself and are helpful to ask in virtually any interview:

1. How would you describe the company's culture?
2. What is your favorite thing about working for this company?
3. How do you think the company defines and demonstrates its values?
4. What are the biggest opportunities currently being presented to the company?
5. What makes people stay at this company?

𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙚-𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨

1. What have past employees done to succeed in this position?
2. What does a typical day look like in this role?
3. Who would I be reporting to?
4. Will I have the opportunity to meet my potential manager or colleagues during the interview process?
5. Beyond the technical skills required to succeed in this role, what soft skills do you think will serve the company and position best?

These are great to ask as the interview is coming to a close:

1. What's one of the most interesting projects you've worked on here?
2. Is there anyone else I should meet with?
3. Are there any other important aspects of the job that we haven't covered?

Try following these tips to make sure you're asking the right questions and avoid any missteps.

😊Good Luck!!! ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ♡
