As much of an emotional rollercoaster as this episode was, I am glad to see Kate and Toby with their respective partners watching their son perform. For a while, I wondered if they would be alive at this point or if Jack would be estranged from them. Glad to see them all together and alive at this point.

1. The power that women have in a man's life is unmatched barring their own kids. The right woman in your life can definitely turn things around and change your Outlook and how life is going for you. It's interesting how this is illustrated here.

2. I'm so glad Toby got a happy ending. It was heartbreaking seeing their marriage end and how he broke down to Kate. That he didn't want to be alone and away from his kids etc. Its never good to see a man like Toby whose put in the work breakdown like that. Whose very obviously trying but it just wasn't enough. So glad they gave him someone too. I would have been very upset if they didn't. It would come off to me like he's the villain or doesn't deserve anyone. Like Kate was the angel in the situation. When they were both at fault. So happy they got their happy ending.

3. I'm so touched that the grandmother's dream of making it big in music is realized with her grandson. It's a beautiful thing to see for sure!

I feel like I cry more knowing they both found their happiness. The love Kate and Toby initially had was so infectious and seeing them fall out of a romantic love was painful. The realistic nature of this hurts more. Dan Fogelman and the writers do it again. I trust that they will make Kevin's story believable and feel right. Excited for the next 6 episodes and sad that it's ending.

I was sooo excited when I saw that Blake Stadnik was in this episode! And even more excited when I saw future Kate and Toby with him grown up!!! I loved that he was chosen to play Jack, he's perfect for it! Then it hit me...if they decide ever to do spin offs, I'd love it to be either of Jack and Lucy's story, or Randell's family. Either would have me watching!

I always loved adult Jack scenes. He was named after his grandfather, who died long before he was born, and followed the same passion for music as his grandmother, who died when he was a kid, and already struggled with dementia when he was a toddler. Yet, their legacy lives on with him.

Can’t help but wonder where Haley is, though I’m kinda assuming maybe she’s in college, or she was busy with something
