Easier : The inside of a triangle is always 3 angles totaling 180 degrees. So 180-90 = 4 x alpha => alpha = 22.5

What a great problem! It never would have occurred to me to apply law of sines to that. Even a former engineering professor still has a lot to learn, I guess!

My first instinct is to imagine a right triangle on a circle, let's say ABC with angles of 67.5, 22.5, and 90. Then between point C and O (the middle part), make a line P, so it makes triangle ABP with angles of 3a, a, and 180-4a. So the question becomes, where is the point P should be?

But that's because I'm gonna use numerical methods to determine it 😢
