Hey everyone,

When I first saw this trending coffee I knew I had to make it! It looks kind of intimidating, so I didn't expect it to be SO easy to make. All the recipes I found used granulated sugar which, if you're like me, you don't feel so good about consuming, especially first thing in the morning.

I was so happy to find out that using maple syrup instead would get the same results! Now I know this still means there's a lot of sugar, but I somehow feel a little better knowing that it's 'naturally' sweetened - plus i love the depth of flavour maple syrup gives!

To make 2 generous sized coffees (or 3 regular sized ones), you'll need:

2 TBSP instant coffee powder (regular or decaf)
2 TBSP 100% maple syrup (you can also use granulated sugar, brown sugar or coconut sugar)
2 TBSP boiling water
Plant based milk (I used coconut milk)
Ice (if you want it to be an iced coffee)
