Hatshepsut | The Greatest Female Pharaoh of Egypt

Hatshepsut is regarded as the greatest female Pharaoh in the history of ancient Egypt. She became queen after her husband and half-brother, Thutmose II died at a young age. Her stepson, Thutmose III was too young to become Pharaoh and so Hatshepsut became regent.

7 years later, she took over power, making herself Pharaoh. She became one of the greatest pharaohs of Egypt before her death in her early 50s.

Hatshepsut is credited to have built some important monuments in Egypt, improving the kingdom's economy, and carrying out some military expeditions.
