I feel bad for Xingye, now he will be traumatised and unable to let his mother taste the soup NOT because he want the first bite, but because he would be afraid his mother got hurt another time by the soup.
Poor little guy ! Thankfully, Mamamao is resistant to poison and will get well soon.
