One of the best segments of this video genre (transcriptions of excerpts/solos from jazz music with catchy titles) imo is when non-professional/young players like this are given the spotlight for their skills and playing! This guy (Levi) has incredible phrasing and skill, far beyond what I'd hope to achieve, and definitely has the talent to go pro!

Btw I realise this is NYO, so it's not like nobody at all in the jazz world would have heard of him, but I would bet my life savings that many of the 92k views on this video (me included) would've never come across this guy if not for this transcription!

VERY cool solo and the tone reminds me so much of the trumpet on Present Perfect: Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass from 1980. Just this fuzzy almost bumblebee-like tone which is so full of character and dynamic inflection. Chef’s kiss
