I use intersect masks a lot and usually I select the sky and intersect with Color rage for the clouds and adjust for clouds then do the same for the blue skies. I find that works well to get the sky I require.

I need so much help with masks that I really appreciate ALL of these videos. You can't repeat it enough for my old brain! Thanks!!

This is one of the most useful of Lightroom's newer tools. Thanks for again demonstrating it.

Nicely explained, and simple to understand Anthony. Your style of teaching is great, so thank you. Your videos are a great help on my photographic journey. I only found "intersect" a couple of months ago and it took some getting used to, but once I figured out it is intersect "what" and then "where" did the penny drop. I find it particularly useful when applied to a colour range which allows changes to specific colours in a specific area.

Wow, thank you so much. I've enjoyed the new masking features in Lr and the intersect mask option was one that I couldn't get my head around. This example has helped enormously.

well done... demonstrating only "one" tool (masking) at a time. Nice!

Thank you for the detailed steps. I suppose for one who doesn’t know interception, then subtraction of the sky mask can be done as an alternative option. 🤔

We wouldn't forget intersect if they had it as a permanent button along with add and subtract. I don't know why they don't or can't do this when it's so useful.

That's very helpful thanks Anthony. I live north of Perth west coast of Australia which has great beaches and lots of activity. I'll be reviewing some shots later.
Is there a preset that could be done for this?

How did you make the Linear Gradient tool go "UP Side Down". I've often wanted it to start in the middle but don't know how. It's alway Top Down or Bottom UP.

Can someone tell me what he said on how to get the Add/SUBTRACT buttons to turn into intersect, the video sped up & I can’t understand what was said.
What do you push for a PC?

The space you omitted under the sail really stands out. A little thing like that can sink a shot. Great tip, nonetheless.
