Thank you. Everything was OK but i couldn't get the "Welcome to Vsphere Data Protection page" when i click on the vSphare Data Protection VM. I get the ordinary VM menus. What did I do wrong? The difference between mine and yours is that my appliance is available on the esxi not below VCenter like you.

i have successfully install the appliance.. but when i go to my web client and go to "vsphere application data" i find my vdp but when i click to connect it the browser stay running without displaying nothing...!! what can i do please.. :(

I have one question.

Where does the appliances make the backups to??
(tape drive, SAN, etc.)??

The vdp is a temportal solution, it is better to use the option of hyperconvergencia with Simplivity that integrates with vmware wonderful, VPD is a thing of the past, it is not a solution since its RTO is very slow in a critical situation.
