FOOD FOR THOUGHT – SEEDS OF CHANGE

Will be a lunchtime on-line gathering and discussion on food, seeds and loss of social space in the context of the Covid pandemic on September 11th at 12 noon to 2pm

With guest speakers, music, commentary, imagery and reflection as we approach harvest time and look towards harvests of the future.

Hosted by Afri and Feasta in partnership with Irish Seed Savers Association and Maynooth University. Our key contributors will be Clare O'Grady Walshe & Fergal Anderson with live music by 'An Tara' - Tommy Hayes and Matthew Noone.

For over four decades Afri has been involved in opposing war, promoting food sovereignty and tackling climate change - working especially with Secondary and Third level students as well as with the general public. We organise the annual Famine Walk in Mayo, a Hedge School in TU Blanchardstown and Féile Bríde in Kildare.
Thank you for continuing to support our work.
