PNF stretches should always be completed with care for you and your client.
This stretch allows to drastically increase ROM about a joint. This is temporary and allows you to get extra movement should you need it.
Whatever you lengthen you must strengthen.
DO NOT go into any heavy loading such as squat and deadlift as your nervous system will not be used to the new position and might not be able to react to pull you out of your new position resulting in a muscle pull.
