Dad Allegedly Left Child on Highway After Crash: Reports

A man allegedly took off running, abandoning his child after a crash that snarled traffic on a Wisconsin freeway, according to reports. The incident was captured on the state’s department of transportation cameras. An overturned car forced three lanes of traffic into one, while authorities checked on the people involved. Video shows an officer approach a child on the highway and then go over to the vehicle and help the dad out. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

The sad part about this is not only the low life father, But the generational damage it will cause. I pray for that little man and hope that "so called father" will be punished accordingly

Heartbreaking. This happened to me when I was 14. My father left my sisters & I to die in a terrible car wreck. He claims he “didn’t know what he was doing”. Car was on fire & everything.. he just took off & ran into the woods. He did a few years in prison. I now have kids of my own & I couldn’t ever imagine doing anything like that to them. I will never see my father the same way again. & I will never forgive him. I hope this poor baby boy will get therapy. I suffer from ptsd to this day.

He was quick to get away. Adrenaline pumping knowing he did something wrong after that crash. That poor child was wondering why his dad was running away after that traumatic crash.

Not only would I have never been even a remote distance from my child after a tragic accident like that, but I would be clinging on to him for dear life thankful that he is ok. People like that “father” absolutely sicken me.
