NEWS | ACTIVATE (some) AVID PLUG-INS TO COMPUTER {NO iLOK NEEDED}

Great news! Avid has updated it's licensing system for some of their 12.7 version plugins. Yes, they are still managed with the iLok License Manager, but, you can now authorize these plugins to your computer! That means you will not need to activate to an iLok key.

Great news for mobile systems and Media Composer users who don't already have an iLok. It's gets even better when you get multiple activations per license. That will allow you to active, for example, one iLok and one computer. Let's hope this is a sign that eventually Pro Tools will allow the same authorization procedures.
