My son uses a shampoo by Vichy for itchy scalp for dry hair and has helped immensely. Plus in between he uses baby shampoo and puts a few drops of tea tree oil. Very good.

I have Plaque psoriasis and T-sal and and a oil that you keep in your hair for like 2 hrs or more help really well

I’m not sure if I suffer from scalp psoriasis specifically but I definitely suffer from severely itchy flaky scalp and it’s a pain. I’m using non fragrance shampoos and E45 anti dandruff shampoo but it’s not really helping. I wonder if there’s anything else I can do? I’m considering getting the hair density drops from the original, do u think it’ll help? Or should I drop some tea tree oil into my shampoo?

I like T-Sal over T-Gel for a once per week deep cleanse. Not for colored hair.

Love all of your videos, Shereene. Best derm on YouTube! Just to flag - both of these contain SLS/sulfates in general, which is counterproductive if you suffer from dry skin, in my experience. As soon as I stopped using these and started using a sulfate free shampoo, my scalp psoriasis cleared up in weeks - total game changer. Beware of pesky sulfates, fellow psoriasis sufferers! Thanks so much for the informative vids - especially your awareness raising of how Hyaluronic Acid is actually really bad for dry skin. I tried it (before watching your vid) and saw dry, red blemishes appear in real time! Still trying to get rid of them, months later. 😫 Keep up the great work x

hi dr shereene just sharing my experience - i have scalp psoriasis (sebopsoriasis) and was told to use ketocanazole by my dermatologist that insisted it wasnt psoriasis but dermatitis sebhorroic and apparently the shampoo didnt work for me. I went to a derm who specializes in psoriasis and she told me i have sebopsoriasis and that ketocanazole cannot treat psoriasis but shampoos like t-gel can. Any shampoo that has coal tar in it basically can. Do you agree with this or it’s just im not using it the right way?

I live in the uk where Nizoral psoriasis isnt readily available & so I paid & extortionate amount to get it shipped over here ONLY FOR IT NOT TO WORK for me. Saddies

Sigh. Almost finished my second bottle of nizoral and it’s done absolutely nothing and I use a timer on it as directed every time :(

Its trial and error. Im using ketocanazole after tar shampoos where not that effective.
