I would’ve liked if the Elites spoke a combination of Sangheili and English. Maybe when they are injured or panicked they shout sangheili phrases and curses, and when they are collected they speak understandable english.

It's funny. I heard this two days ago... at this exact point in the game.

This isn't that rare. The "wort wort wort" recording (actually "wog wog wog", as it is just "Go! Go! Go!" played backwards) was used in both Halo CE and Halo 2. It doesn't play anywhere near as often in Halo 2 as it did in Halo CE, but I have literally heard the line in nearly every single Halo 2 playthrough I've ever done, from the original Xbox all the way through H2A in MCC.

Also, here's a fun fact some might not be aware of: the actor used for the Halo CE Elites, and thus the "wort wort wort" line, was none other than David Scully, the voice of Sergeant Johnson. To achieve the Elite voice sound, Marty O'Donnell simply lowered David's voice in pitch and then played all his lines in reverse so they sounded alien.
