What if I wanted to, for example, freeze only A through H of the first row, so that when I scroll left and right, that row stays in place? As-is if you freeze a row, that row still moves when you scroll left or right. I want a completely static A through H.

how does google sheets to multiple freezes with different title rows? in other words I have two sets of data to compare each have their own title row so I need the "A1" row frozen and also the "A25" row frozen and they are not adjacent
