Learn how to freeze and unfreeze columns and rows in Microsoft Excel. Freeze a portion of the sheet to keep it visible while you scroll through the rest of the sheet. This is useful for checking out data in other parts of your worksheet without losing your headers or labels.

I had to watch your video several times to get the knack of the freeze pain feature. What you didn' t explain is that you cannot have a header (or title) above the columns you want to freeze. I must have done mine about 6x before I figured this out. Then it works like a charm. Still love your videos nonetheless. Great job.

I had watched a number video on how to freeze both the row and the column together and yours was the first one to provide something understandable and workable. Sadly, I still have Exell 2003 but plan to upgrade soon.

Man, im coming from numbers on Mac, and Numbers is so user friendly it makes Excel feel very difficult to use. Now I know there are more functions and capabilities on excel which is why im crossing over. I like the challenge, and im thinking I need a Windows system as well as a Mac. So cool.

Kevin, this tutorial was the quick solution I was looking for. But I don't see that option on share point. I've noticed certain functions are not displayed, but they work after I set them on the application.
