Hearing "our brains" is so comforting. I thought it was just be, being defective and abnormal and lasy (for housework) all this time. It was so lonely without any understanding. I'm not alone in this. Tears.

Rule number 1 don’t look for a job or a career. Think really hard about what you want and go design the life that you’ve always wanted and needed. Even if it takes a while the adventure will be worth it. ❤

I work in an explosion proof room all day and most of my coworkers have ADHD. The ones that dont have ADHD dont react fast enough when things go wrong. Im a mess most of the time but when flammable solvents are shooting out of my equipment suddenly i because the most capable person in existence.

ADHD isnt a disadvantage in many situations and sometimes its an advantage.

Love it, things I've always felt but never realised were typical of neurodivergent people. Discovering a community of similar people is allowing me to live more positively and aware of my self

As a uni lecturer I get a new group of students every 10 weeks. The material is largely the same, but the novelty of new group of people with their own challenges keeps it feeling fresh

I've been part if ADHD Vision for about a month. This program has drastically changed my life and continues to evolve and offer more solutions.

Nik's done the years of work I was never able to complete and now so many are benefiting.

Thank you!

At 62, I wish I could have had this information as a teenager.

Became a self employed chimney sweep late in life. Every job is a different puzzle to solve and I meet lots of great people. No two days are ever the same.

I struggle with mental hyperactivity so a structured job in which I can exist highly individualistically is super important. I work nights cleaning a gym. No management. I’ve perfected my routine. I work out for free. Plus gym hotties ain’t bad to look at. It get time on the clock to be creative too. I write a lot at work. I’m thankful for my position

This may not make sense to others, but my profession as a caregiver to the elderly hits all his points.

I've had repetative, boring jobs in the past. I died inside, so depressing. Decided to study again and become an elementry teacher. Best choice I've ever made. The kids keep you at your toos, it's divers but contained in a schedual, I can add all my creativity.
The studying itself nearly costed my mental health though.

I used to "waste" my spare time as a kid learning to write code, then dropped out of electrical engineering to be a software developer. Do what you love and it makes it easy to apply yourself.

That's why I thrive in finding the place to stay because my mind doesn't stop till I find the perfect one.
