My dad left when i was 2, got his life together about 8 years later. He was always a car salesman, and when he got his life together he did pretty much exactly this. He learned the business in and out, made connections, found things his boss was lazy with or underhanded with and started his own autoglass company. Hes doing great with it now and my brother went to work for him. Sales is a lot, but knowing the ins and outs of the industry is the biggest thing for moving up

Yes i think just like cuban said, just dont expect to become the best salesperson in the world in only 3 months. There maybe people who can, but every person would vary some take months, years, or decades. I think what you can take from him is to have dedication in your craft whether its salesperson or gardening, be master of it and love it as much as cuban loves what he is doing. Master your craft and know your worth, you are the biggest commodity you can sell.
